Title: FREE FLY TYING LESSONS
Post by: gunner100 on 15/01/2007 at 21:24
Hi All,

Stonehaven and District Angling Assocation (SDAA) have run flytying lessons for a long number of years for both members and non-members alike. They are free! They are principally aimed at juniors, ie those up to 15 years, but all age groups are welcome. The SDAA normally run 3 or so events in the winter with the first this year on Wednesday 24th January 2007 ,  7 p.m., at the Community Education Centre, Bath St, Stonehaven (opposite the St Leonards hotel).

It is a friendly relaxed atmosphere, light refreshments provided with as much 1 to 1 instruction as possible. This is dependant upon the number of volunteer instructors available on the night.

Due to current legislation re supervising juveniles, the SDAA request that all those attending who are 15 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This a much better way to learn fly tying than a vide or DVD. If you wish to come along, please dos or alternatively, give me a PM.
