Title: Haddo Trout Fishery ( to April 4th )
Post by: Mike Barrio on 04/04/2010 at 21:56
Hi folks

It's been a week of ever changing weather conditions and Haddo trout, like most fish, do not appear to like this very much :z3 The olive Damsel has once again proved to be a good choice of fly, with Bloodworm, Spiders, Buzzers and the occasional Fritz also on the menu.

The angler with possibly the broadest smile on his face this week was Hamish Young, Hamish tempted 20 fish for his session and four of these were in the 10 to 16 lb range! Jim Eddie also enjoyed some great sport netting 16 fish, four of which were between 10 and 12 lb, Jonathon Petrie had 13 fish up to 8 lb, Robbie Duncan 13 up to 7 lb and Calum Clark caught 10 fish up to approx 8 lb.

Best wishes
Mike
