Another week of variable temperatures and unfortunately a cold strong wind during the midweek. Fishing has been unpredictable with catches being recorded on a variety of end tackle. Although Bloodworm and Buzzers were popular some anglers preferred lures with Cat's Whisker and Cormorant proving productive. More joy on Sunday as several fish fell to dry flies. Looking forward now to more settled conditions with stable temperatures and reduced winds.
The top six this week were:
G Rust Aberdeen 18 fish to 5.5lbs
S MacLean Fraserburgh 12 fish to 3lbs
S Faithfull Mintlaw 9 fish to 5lbs
I Watt Turriff 9 fish to 8lbs
C Field Fraserburgh 9 fish to 5.5lbs
I Nisbet Maud 8 fish to 4lbs
The top weight this week was 8.5lbs and shared by I Watt and P Gray both from Turriff.
The fishery is now a Trout Master Water and "fish tickets" are available.
Boats and tackle for hire - everyone welcome.
For all enquiries phone 07980 999006, ask for Bob.

Ok i might of been a bit harsh paul but a spades a spade with me!
Most peoples first post on here is an intro of themselves and so on!
To come straight onto the forum and start putting up reports just seamed a tad off, but looking back i propably best of just kept quiet :z6
Best of luck anyway Bob :z18

Hi guys
I can understand you defending the forum Baz, as you see what happens on the "big forum", but there is no need thanks :wink
Bob was invited to post fishing reports here by myself and he also made a point of coming over to Haddo with Jonathan to meet me, which was great! :z16
All the local fisheries have frequently been invited to post reports on the forum and to use it for any news that they might have to offer, in fact this is the only thing that I ask in return for their free advertising page on the main website ...... it is a pity that most of them don't bother! :z8
Best wishes
Mike
