Was planning to fish the Don today but after the weather we have had i knew i wouldn't be able to so i phoned Mike and was lucky enough to get a boat on Haddo for today.
Started fishing about ten o'clock. Sport was consistent all day and i ended up with ten fish for the day.
All but one fish were on an apps bloodworm. The highlight of my day being a superb conditioned rainbow of about 4lb which circled the boat and gave a great account of itself. I also had a cracking wee blue trout on which fought amazingly for its size before releasing itself!
Started raining heavily later on but the weather was not bad at all for most of the day up till then.
All in all a very enjoyable day :z16
Met Jim (jedi) and his mate. Was nice meeting you. Always nice to put a face to a name. :z18
