Title: Fish Bum 1 - Mongolia - River Wolf DVD

Wife bought me this Just watched it last night absolutly great DVD would recomend it to anyone, half fishing half drunken road trip accross Mongolia.  Lots of shots of huge taimen, mongolian scenery and gratuitous tackle porn shots from loop.  As for the taimen what a fish, they are as if a brown trout has porked a pike  big, beutiful and nasty at the same time would be brilliant on the fly.

Anyway have stocked up on beer and orded the earlier two Trout bum Dvds from the same guys anyone seen them?

Yes, got them both.... Bum Vol 1 and 2, brilliant. Lent them to Mike a while back and he enjoyed them. Looking forward to getting Mongolia in my Christmas Stocking!  Dave B. :z4

I believe Magnus has had a few Taimen...would be nice to see some pictures :)

Just watched the first one absolutly awsome.  Gutted i never fished for trout much last season.  Next season salmon rods getting hidden away march, april, may.   Anyone tryed big mouse patterns like on the dvd on the don with any sucess?

Lol no, I try to match the hatch as much as possible and have yet to see any mice hatching on the Don. Having said that I have never seen a chernobyl ant in my life and have had some success on those on local loch's  :z4

I thought the first one was very good and then just loved the second one filmed in New Zealand, which brought back lots of memories :z16

I liked the way it took them a while to suss out how to fish in NZ too :wink
