Title: Artloch Fishery
Post by: Stuart at Artloch on 28/11/2006 at 11:43
Despite some difficult conditions last week, it was either rain with wind, or sunshine with no wind, a good number of fish in 4 to 8 lbs range were caught, plus a brace of doubles, and anglers are reporting that the fish are in pristine. fighting condition.  On the better days fish are continuing to rise, and bow waves indicate that the trout are still chasing fry.

Intermediate lines using Damsels, Fritz and nymphs have proved a good combination this past, especially when fished that little bit deeper and slower.

Closed to casual anglers on Sun 3 Dec for the final of the NE Challenge.   I wonder if the Aberdeen Fly Fishers will be able to maintain their lead in the league and see off the challenge of the Kintore Angling Club?
