I went along to the Dee opening day, most excellent fun - even though I'm a smidgen under the weather with some kind of bug at the moment :roll Bumped into all sorts of interesting folk, managed a few pics on my camera before the damn batteries went flat :mad
So here you go:
Before the kick off, looking down onto the pool below 'Potties'.

Andrew Flitcroft (Editor, Trout & Salmon) at 'work' taking pics:

Clive Anderson along with Ken Reid and Wilson Forbes from the 'Dee crew' prior to the opening.

Mark Bilsby does his bit:

And Clive does his bit, which was as witty as you'd expect :z4

Clive makes the first 'cast' of the year, although by this time at least three fresh fish had been caught and released on the river:

All in, very worthwhile event. If invited, I'll be there again in 2010 :z16

Looks like a great show! Was Mr Anderson a Hoot?

If your "bug" dies in time ...... I take it you are coming along to the River Don March with your camera and some new batteries? :wink
Cheers

I nipped into the Douglas last night and got talking to a group of chappies up from Lanacashire...all of them had taken fresh fish..so the whisky was flowing :)
