Title: top eye
Post by: ARF!! on 20/01/2009 at 15:16
i have just snapped the top eye of my rod for the second time now, it was a #7 wait 9foot rod, altogether i have lost about 2" of the top, so dose this mean i should look at maybe an #8 or #9 wait line for it now :?

Arf!

2" of the tip should not affect the line rating for the rod.
It may make it a touch less sensitive and will certainly make it a bit more abrupt. But the line rating should stay the same :z16
