Hey

If any of you are intrested in computer games i reccomend a game called Flysim, as u probably guessed from its name it's a fly fishing simulator, it's great. You can download the demo where you can fish 1 river and catch 1 fish ( not very good but its a great game ) at

www.flysim.com/flysim/flysim_features.html

5/5

Hmmmm ...... that looks like fun and the full version does not look too expensive

How much fun is it to play Jay?
Might be fun for a few of us to get it and run some sort of "sim league"

Best wishes

Its REALLY good, if you download the demo you'll see, even your selection of flies have really good detail, its quite simple to learn as well. A much bigger improvment from Fishsim, it was very boring. Its very good 5/5.

It's great isn't it! It's just a shame the demo only lasts for one fish at a time.

Story of my life!

Great Fun though, I'll need to buy it.  Thanks for posting the link Jay

Yes, this game is quite addictive and good fun

I suspect that I will probably end up moving this thread to the "Fishing Fun and Games" section soon, as it might not be long before we are discussing "flysim" flies and tactics etc etc etc  :z4

Best wishes
Mike ............... desperately in need of a bigger mousemat to achieve a 75ft cast

canna beat it yet only get 62 so far but i have found a good way of casting - get your self some thing straight i use the edge of my laptop but a video case or sumthing similar is ideal then place mouse against it then cast it keeps ur rod straight when casting . with that cast brian you must be able to cover that big fish thats always under the waterfall eh

Ah...
I've this little game on my machine for years now. Still can't bring myself to spring for the pay version...

The pool that's loaded when you start the game has some nice fish in it. Try the little 'V' slot in the middle for some nice 2+ pound brookies. Watch yer drift... LOL

Upstream by the waterfall there are some VERY nice brookies, long damn casts though!
There is also a forum for poor f's like us who don't get to fish but want to talk about it anyway!

Title: New fishing game
Post by: Jay Scott on 04/06/2007 at 20:45
After playing flysim for a while i have been shown a new game called "Pishtec" now don't let the name discourage you it is actuallt better than flysim and also has a downloadable demo which allows you to fish 4 rivers each with 2 beats and catch unlimited fish also with a larger selection of flies.
