Hi folks :cool:
Spiders, Diawl Bachs, Emergers, Bibio, F-Fly, Klinks, Buzzers and Damsels have been on the menu at Haddo this week :wink
Stuart Crocket enjoyed good sport with 26 fish up to 4½ lb for his session, Phil Broadley tempted 25 up to 4½ lb, Alex Burnett had 14 up to 18 lb, Jay Scott 13 up to 8 lb, Stuart Forsyth 12 up to 3 lb, Davie Wilson 11 up to 7 lb and Kipps Kerr had 11 fish up to 4 lb.
Top of the water tactics produced trout in larger numbers and fishing slightly deeper produced larger trout. Mathew Will netted 2 nice fish, the first a 13 lb rainbow and the second a 12 lb Blue, Frank Thrall tempted 8 up to 15 lb and Bob Logan had 7 fish up to 10 lb.
Junior anglers had fun too, Andrew Simmonds caught his first 2 fish on the fly and in the Inverurie Angling Association Junior competition rematch, Stevie Cruickshank and Maclean Neismith were declared joint winners ..... Well done!
