Title: Artloch Fishery Report
Post by: Stuart at Artloch on 09/06/2008 at 11:59
Mixed bag of successful flies, but with most fishing top o' water, Midge, Spiders, Floating & Suspended Buzzers and Klinkhammers have again been the top dry flies.   Sub-surface, Pheasant Tail Nymph, March Brown, Kate McLaren and Black Pennell have worked well.

Examples of recent larger baskets include K Bryant who released 10 from wets, visiting anglers P Squire and R Trent with 11 and 12 respectively, using Suspended Buzzers and small dark dries, both best at 5lbs.    L Aitken released 13 from Klinkhammers, best at 6lbs.   L Wood also tempted 13 using Buzzers, including his infamous Pink Buzzer.   I Sutherland has again enjoyed a number of successful visits, but his best was 21 taken on a floating buzzer, best at 5lbs.   Other anglers report releasing some nice fish between 5 and 8 lbs, while one circa 9-10 lbs was also released.
