Title: Wanted screw in extension butt

Hi Guys I am looking for screw in extension Butt , if any of you Guys have one and no longer use it, or know where I could get one i would be willing to pay for it

The FB7 is 126mm long (Also does not look so bulky as the one in the photo).

It looks like a Hardy one to me. Hardy no longer supply them as they sold off the lathes several years ago.
Occasionally you can find one on Ebay, but they tend to go for quite a bit. The last one I managed to get cost about £50.

hi Brian,
the screw threads come in different sizes on different rods. to not end up with a mis-match you'll have to be more precise. (what rod it came from etc... )

Hi Gramrugby it is the one that came with Hardy rods, if I knew what thread it was I could  try getting  someone to turn one out for me as I have the corks to make custom butt

Have you spoken to Hardy?

I believe that Hardy uses a standard 3/8" thread.

its 3/8 BSF I have a tap and die for this, for replacing buttons, easgach 1
