Title: A Nice Gesture - Mossat
Post by: Peter Rawlinson on 19/01/2012 at 22:20
A pal and I fished the Mossat Fishery today which was 50% iced up . Steve the owner only  charged us half price because of the conditions - half the water so half the price .

I have fished many times over the years on lochs that have been part frozen over .  It is my decision on the day , but never been offered a discount before .  We had a good day and caught some nice trout .

A nice touch that will ensure my return .    :z16

Hi there,

Steve has also done that for myself a few times in the past as i live quiet close to the fishery and use it quiet a bit, he is very fair about stuff like that.

I think he likes the fishery to be used rather than people not being out on it.

Cheers

Mark

Yeh you are right Mark, I also see that the new toilets and bothy are open now , but he will probaly find some more improvements to be done knowing Steve.

It has fished well the last few times I have been .
