Great video, I will be showing it to a lot of people at work.

A lot of them still don't believe that farmed salmon are bad for you, are a very poor imitation of the real thing.

When I sayed on the west coast, (late 70s) we used to buy wild salmon as a treat for a birthday meal or similar.

In those days I can remember that we paid about £5.00 to £6.00 per pound for early season salmon.

The taste was just fantastic and when you have it as a treat infrequently you enjoy it all the more.

It was about that time that Marine HArvest started the rainbow trout farm at Lochailort and very quickly realised that Atlantic Salmon would be a much better option.

Then the demise of the river Ailort and Loch Eilt happened and the rest is history.

Such a shame as we always saw boats on the loch when we passed on trips out to Arisaig or Mallaig.
