As far as I know the Tillypronie beat has been leased to the Ballater Angling Association and is available to members only. Hamish might know more.

Glenkindie do not sell fishing permits but Culquioch Estate, on the south bank opposite Glenkindie, sell day tickets for brown trout only through the Glenkindie Garage Shop.

The beat is typical of the upper Don. Some days these is a good rise of trout to the olives and some days you would swear there are no fish in the river. You just have to take your chances as you find them.

Good luck

I've got an idea, why don't we all head up to the Glenkindie tomorrow evening and find out :wink

Now that sounds like a plan
