Title: Good source of deer hair for muddlers
Post by: James Laraway on 22/02/2024 at 10:34
So as i am getting more into tying muddlers I'm wondering where people get theirs from ?
Ideally I'm after somewhere that does patches of dyed hair, so just after some recommendations really...

Agreed James, Cookshill dark Roe is the best I have come across for quality and quantity. Perfect for hogs, dhes and small muddlers.

I bought a complete winter Roe skin on eBay a couple of years ago, only cost about £40. Have to dye my own patches but that is not too difficult. Still go plenty of it left.
