Here is a link to a usefull page for those trying to tie up some buzzer patterns,
this shows some good photos of how they actually look in the water.

Hope this helps some people.

Been tying up some flies by Roy Christy - http://www.danica.com/flytier/rchristie/rchristie.htm

Really like the below fly (buzzer) by stevej on UKFD

gonan tie a few up tonight and try them out tomorrow. Ive also tied some in the style below, so they will get their first outing tomorrow (going to try Midmar Fishery)

Will report how they work, and how I get on :D

Well buzzers werent woking that day, people seemed to be catching on Yellow IPN (fritz) but I hate using lures so DIDNT!!!

Rose a number of trout on a tiny klink, lost 4 (small hook kept straightening and coming loose) did land 1 however but fish was HORRIBLY deseased!

Was an ok day, sure it would be a great place to fish if the weather was nice, we were fishing in what seemed to be hurricane winds :z1

Unlucky Cameron - maybe you'll have more success next time  Interesting place to fish, though it can be a trifle exposed and it was pretty breezy on saturday  :z10

Thats an understatement, it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO windy, was pretty funny tho, when my brother and I were back casting the line would just literally fall at your feet it was so strong!!!  :z3
