OK what am I doing wrong here; 82 views and not a single PM. Is the rod too cheap; too expensive; nobody fancies a Scott S4; ...?
On this forum back in Feb-2010, a similar rod was bought by Spiderman and everyone reckoned the rod sold too cheaply...

Andrew - you're not doing anything wrong, that's the way things are sometimes This isn't the biggest forum in the world, and I see you've not had much luck elsewhere on bigger forums http://www.flyforums.co.uk/member-classifieds/79114-scott-s4-905-4-a.html
Presumably you didn't shift it on eBay either
Good things come to those who wait, if you need to shift it quickly I'll give you a £100 If you don't need to sell it, keep it..... could come in handy

Thanks Hamish. I haven't tried ebay; my feeling is that the highest prices are achieved by selling on ebay, but the ebay (and paypal) fees are considerable so better to try to sell on a fishing forum. That way both buyer and seller get the best deals  
The last comparable S4 I saw on ebay.co.uk went for £320 about 4 months ago ... if only
