Title: Praise for Ward end
Post by: Conehead on 20/05/2010 at 18:05
Would just to give a wee bit of praise to Ward end fishery that I visited for the first time today. Plenty of lovely finned and nicely proportioned fish that fought like rainbows should. The owner puts his stock fish into a holding pond to condition and feed naturally leading to high quality fish. Took all my fish on the dry fly on my Barrio 3# wt (great rod by the way, thanks Mike/Sandy :z16). Lovely place to while away a few hours, with great facilities and friendly owner, I will definately go again :grin

The fishery is located just outside Elgin near Milbuies fishery.

That sounds good , geoff
we are staying in Elgin when we are home in July so an evening or two local
would be rather cool, maybe we can time one together.
Would be nice to actually get out and fish together for once.
I think Dan would like it too

cheers

Hi Sandy

Yes that sounds good. Let me know when you are free and we can see how my shift plan works out. Have you fished at ward end ?
