Getting down to the 'nitty gritty' ...... had a lot of fun testing the latest fly line samples today  >)

Caught a few fish too ..... bonus  :)

I tried the 4# Smallstream yesterday, was quite impressed, despite the wind I managed to cast a decent line, I'm out again today so hopefully not so windy and I'll get a better idea of how the line (or me  !! ) performs.
Not many trout about where I was but managed half a dozen up to 3/4lb mark all on spiders.

Great stuff Fred, that upstream wind was not making life easy yesterday.
