While out yesterday, I spotted some cool fungus halfway up a tree. I think it’s the one they make Amadou from. However on looking at closely there is a rusty old spinner in it which the fungus must have grown around.  Strange the things we find down the river.

It is indeed a Horseshoe Fungus which you can make Amadou from. I do love the spinner embedded in it, that is a great spot.... were you looking for a flea?  *smiley-tongue-out*
