I am going goose shooting after christmas and want to make the most of my kills, for eating and for making flies with. What feathers on the goose do i take for fly tying? But i have to hit something first. :z4

The feathers around the preen gland on top of the tail end are CDC wing feathers have many uses as do body feathers

So pretty much all of it has some use? It probably going to be Canada and greylag i'll be shooting, does it matter or does it all do the same job?
