I'm fed up with not seeing folk .................
Anybody fancy a wee forum get together this coming weekend at Lochter fishery?
Maintaining reasonable distances and all that :)
Cheers

Alas I can't manage this, would like to be there but have unavoidable domestic responsibilities at the weekends *smiley-unhappy* and 'little me' isn't ready for a road trip and fishing day combo that far just yet.
Nevertheless, maybe another time :z16

I'm keen to tag along guys, would be good to see a few faces again, been way too long.
Pity Hamish, was actually thinking about giving you a shout to look at something like this but Mike's beaten me to it :) >)
-
Great stuff Allan :z16
See you on Saturday :)
We could always do another one 'up north' in a few weeks time if Hamish can find a window *smiley-wink*
Cheers

Hi,
I'd have been right up for this, but already got plans this saturday for a bit f stock car racing down in Cowdenbeath........(varied hobbies, *smiley-funny*).
Any other Saturday / Sunday, next time whenever I'll be there, :-), be great to catch up with loads of old faces!, (not in the age sense)

Given a good Mk1 escort will now set you back 40's of thousands of pounds, thats quite funny!

That's a bummer Sandy *smiley-unhappy* ......... next time :z16

Would have loved to be there but family plans at loch Earn will scupper the idea. I would be more than happy to join a day out at a fishery outside the normal fishing season.
Have fun and tight lines to all who go along.

What's the plan?
For those that haven't been before - these things are totally informal and there is no meeting point or plan *smiley-grin*
Simply turn up at the same fishery on the day ( in this case Lochter Fishery on Saturday ) fish for as long or as little as you'd like, and bump into other forumite friends on the bank while you enjoy your fishing >)
-
I would have loved to come along. Unfortunately, we are visiting family on the West Coast, so I can't make it.

No, I don't think so Rob *smiley-grin*
But, on a serious note, if anybody is coming along and maybe won't recognise faces ..... please don't hesitate to let me know in advance via PM and I'll do my best to introduce you to everybody on the day :z16

How about Wardend Fishery or Mill of Kellas :? I've not fished either and it might be entertaining to do some stocky bashing in October :z18

Sounds good Hamish, I imagine Allan would be able to help with a venue choice up there.
Simply post something about a week beforehand, in September/October or whenever suits you :z16
Looking a tad damp in the Shire this morning, away to get sandwiches/coffee made up and will head off in about an hour, once I've found something more suitable to put on my feet than my slippers *smiley-grin*

Started off a wee bit damp, but a most enjoyable day in great company >)
Plenty of fish rising throughout the day, but they were 'picky' and not easy to tempt, which kept it interesting *smiley-grin*
Fairly small Bibios, Emergers and Daddies worked for me.
Cheers

It's rewarding to have to work for your catch, I have a few days Salmon fishing coming up..... hopefully I will just need to work hard enough *smiley-wink*
Might take junior for a cast somewhere on Sunday - we'll see.
-
Really enjoyed the day out Mike, there were plenty of fish showing all around all the time going for something sub surface, emergers did the job for me but it was not easy. Great to meet up with the other guys there.
