Lossie estuary - Spey Bay Sea Trout
« on: 13/05/2013 at 16:05 »
Am up staying in Nairn this weekend and have a free pass on Saturday and Sunday so was wondering about fishing options.

One thing that i thought might be worth a bash on the saturday would be the sea trout fishing from the shore.  Has anyone fished the Lossie Estuary or Spey bay?

Came accross this site  http://www.speymouthangling.co.uk/seafishing.html and i beleive the Elgin angling association has the rights to the Lossie estuary.

Also does the fishing shop in Elgin still exist?

Cheers
Michael

Sorry Michael just noticed this and maybe too late.
Yup Des in the Angling Centre Moss Street Elgin best placed to help here, however you are a little early for the best of the salt sport in these parts.  Weather isn't good today either.

Nairn based better suited for Lochindorb, the Nairn, Lossie, or the Inverness waters if wild fish your choice, or a host of decent pun n take venues not too far either.
