Morning Mike. I am looking for a floating line for my 10’ #4 rod. I fish the Don and other rivers of a similar size. I want a line mainly for dry fly work and fishing the duo, but also for fishing a team of spiders or traditional nymphing - so a bit of an all rounder. I prefer the presentation and casting feel of a DT line but am open to advice on this. What can you suggest from your lines? Many thanks.

G'morning Nick.
Good question - for what you describe, I think my choice would be a GT90 on the lower Don and a Smallstream on the upper Don. ( Upper Don being from around Alford )
The GT90 feels more like a DT of the two.
Cheers
Mike

That was quick service! Fly line has arrived already and it looks and feels fantastic. Can’t wait to try it out on the 15 March. Thanks Mike
