Title: Classic Don flies from the 1880's
Post by: scottishtrout on 05/11/2009 at 15:33
Just thought I'd bring your attention to www.feathersfliesandphantoms.co.uk I mentioned it last year when it was just started. Now having had a good 12 months work there is quite a lot of information and pictures of the old salmon flies of the Dee, Don, Deveron and Ythan as well as potted histories of the old tackle makers. If you havn't been there for a while it may be worth a look - and as always if you have any constuctive crits (or more info on the flies, tyers, makers etc.) let me know. (always looking for input from tyers of classic flies & fishy historians!)

Cheers

Colin
