Just back from a few hours of trying to get ice and water out of the boats at Haddo. The loch is still about 99% frozen and the ice is thick. The water will need at least a week of temps like today before conditions will start to change.

Was hoping to get some fishing done today but loch Insch is frozen over today.

Welcome to the forum

Lochter fishery seems to be the least affected by ice locally and Delgatie has a good flow through it which helps, both are worth a phone call.

Hi folks

Haddo is still more than 50% frozen, with most of the ice in the middle of the loch, so we can't get the boats out.

Won't be able to open this weekend obviously, but it is slowly thawing out
