Title: Anybody seen Iain?
Post by: Mike Barrio on 11/03/2009 at 18:44
Hi folks

I was thinking today, as one does, that I haven't seen Iain for ages :roll

Iain ( below ) used to come to Haddo on his motorbike :z15

Anybody seen him lately or know what he's doing nowadays?
Best wishes
Mike

If I remember correctly, I think Iain Morrison said this cracking brownie was about 9 lb, but I can't remember where he caught it :oops

maybe mine was a more like 1/2 the size of that. Have no idea how much it weighed as I was pretty young and no scales. Was funny how I caught it.

We were fishing at the deskry pool of the don for salmon. To get there we walk past "The Frog Pond" (Hamish you must know it, one with island in middle in woods. well on way back with no luck for some reason we were waling along the edge dragging our flies along the water. Mine came close to some weeds and BANG the fish took it and shot off to the island. Got it in and im sure it must have been about 1/2 the size of that one. Put it back straight away. Man I wonder how big it is now as that must have been around 10years ago.

anyway back on track. Iain???
