The first year I went there were at least 40 angling stalls, probably more. They went down fishermans row and finished in a T shape with the extra stalls across the top by the river.
Greys had a stall that took up three pitches and had a casting pool behind where you could try rods. Hardys was pushed around the corner
Commercialism at the worst, stall prices on the way up so less people take stalls, ticket prices on the way up to cover fewer stalls, so fewer people turn up. I don't have an answer...but a few years an the thing will be gone if it carries on.
The "Carp" shows down south attract huge crowds and the manufacturers turn up.
