Hello,

A bit off topic.....or maybe not.
 
Another one of my collecting habits is watches......and that got me thinking about what the ideal fishing watch would be.  I'm thinking about a G-shock....one that monitors barometric pressure etc, but would it be useful?...or is it just another gadget i tell myself I need,

Anyway, my fishing watch last season was a Doxa 1200T.......helium escape valve, (because you never know when you might need it,  )



So lets see your fishing watches.....the more bashed and battered the better!

I have always liked a nice watch but sadly they don’t last long so I currently wear a cheap £5 watch that does everything I need it to. Lost count of the watches I have lost or that I have tested the waterproof rating on and they didn’t survive.

 Phone a friend, hands free, when you need assistance with that monster fish.
 & check what your heart rate was after you lost it!

For years, I wore the cheapest, simplest watch. It told the time, and was replaceable if it got wet etc





Size 14 invicta for scale, and 9lb 12 oz sea trout for bragging….

I wear a fitbit sense now for health monitoring, but still fond of my utilitarian watch

no, the watch was a fiver from Amazon...

oh, you mean the fish... it was from the Ythan about 10 years ago i think. the watch is still ticking!

Never been much of a watch wearer, got a couple in the drawer, both dead, I don't seem to get on with anything that uses batteries.
Main criteria for me nowadays would be big bold numbers
