Evening all
Today Mr Ecosse and myself ventured up the glen to a bonnie we loch in hope of getting some late season action with the hungry big browns
The water had a head of wild and stocked browns and for a nice chnage no bows
We were not let down to say the least and on arrival we were greeted with the perfect conditions, drizzle, overcast and a slight breeze
This was our first time on this water so with no fish showing and signs of it being a very deep water we opted for a hi-d line and pulled
( all day).
First cast i touched a fish and second cast wallop, fish on
And it was a clonker as well, great tail , great fight and really just a great fish.
20 mins later further down the drift Mr Ecosse was in on the action and again a great fish that went like a train.
This was turning out to be a great day and we ended up taking fish all day and ended up with around 10 troot to the boat
The highlight was Peters troot it really was a beast, fought like a tiger and looked every bit of 3-4lbs.
All the fish we had were in pristine condition and were all perfectly finned and tailled.
Just a shame tomorrow is the last day of the season for this water but already i cant wait to get back out early next season.
Hope you like the photo's ,
