Went for a cast early afternoon on the lower river and was pretty much Muired by the rain. A jacket may have been in order.
Didn't see much (read any) decent 1lb plus fish but managed a nice wee Troot to the dry
so the rod was bent.
Decided to have a rove upriver later in the day and although cold and breezy a fortunate rest up allowed me to notice this feeding fish, and 4 of his smaller chums.
Some very warm spells today between the
showers downpours but definitely an Autumnal feel in the air.
