Hi folks
I've had a few folk asking when we can hold the next float tube gathering. Weekends are quite busy at Haddo at the moment, but we could hold a gathering on one of the following dates if you like:
Saturday October 2nd
Saturday October 9th
Saturday October 16th ...... ( no longer an option )
Sunday October 17th
Let me know what you think :wink
Cheers

Thanks to Mike and all the guys at the gathering today, its a really peaceful way to fish and I will certainly be having a go on the hill lochs next year.

Another great day out with the fish keeping everyone guessing. Kev Danby had success with buzzers, Sandy Murdoch with lures and and I found that a sedgehog was the fly they preferred. Some of the other guys were having great "top of the water" sport just as we were packing up!
I have added a photo of a rainbow estimated to be around 8 lb. caught by Sandy Murdoch.
Thanks again Mike

Hi Mike,
Nice photos as usual- the third one from the bottom is interesting. How did you manage to get him to stay upside down without getting wet? Glad to see you managed to catch Jim for a change - good action shots.
All the best

Great photo's Mike :z16
Looks like the usual fun gathering. John, you'll never regret buying a tube, it is the only way to fish a loch.

Yeah, I did think something was scaring you.
I take it it's a shakey expedition tube you've bought?
They've got a good following but some can't get on with them - I love minezes.
