LOOP 'Adventure' 4 piece rod   9'   5-6wt

Clearing out the garage I came across this 'wee monkey' - the rod was purchased years ago for a weekend on the hill lochs of western Scotland.

I would say that the rod is in good condition despite its age due to the fact that it was only used for the weekend (standard rods were 2 piece & 4 piece rods were considered travel rods back then). The cork handle has a 'well handled' appearance & suggests that the rod's been used rather more than it actually has.

The rod comes in a black bag (not a bin liner!) but there is no tube - again that was the norm back then.

Anyone requiring to try the rod is more than welcome - please contact Mike Barrio beforehand so that he can bring it to the Fishery (Haddo).

I'm looking around the £35 mark for the rod.

Had a quick play with this today ....... a pretty good all rounder for somebody and probably quite good for float tubing

Certainly worth more than the asking price
