Found it at the back of the shed while clearing out ,top section is a bit warped and missing the top eye.on its got,hardy's W fitting,regd 16.8.73
A 1 6543
Any info on it would be great.[/img]

i think ive got the same rod at home .i also think its in quite good conditon.

dont know anything about it

Normally not worth too much as collectors want the reels. You can get in touch with Hardy and give them the number and they can tell you who built it, when and sometimes, for who :)

Think rod dates from 1906, can check on web site http://hardy.hardybc.com/roddating.php
but best call hardy, they can put you through to the museum who should be able to give more info on rod
