Title: History of Aberdeen tackle and flies
Post by: scottishtrout on 07/05/2009 at 11:34
Hello all, a few months ago I posted a link to my web site on the history of the Aberdeen tackle makers and the salmon flies of the north east of Scotland - I have had some great feedback and have now updated the site with lots of additional flies and data about the tackle makers (some intering stuff on post WW11 Sharpes reels) - a few articles published in the 1880 - 1910 period about fishing on the Dee and the Don - some information about the great salmon fly tiers of the past (and present), etc.

Please have a look at the site and feedback your thoughts on area where it could be improved/ideas for additional content/what you like/dislike about it.

Yours in hope...

Colin
