A nice wee hatch
« on: 20/03/2012 at 13:26 »
Was walking down the Ythan this morning and a lovely hatch of LDO's and March browns started to trickle off about 11-30, after 10mins it was a good consitant hatch and around 12 the fish started to rise steadily and continued for another 45 mins.
I just sat and watched, beautiful morning, all that was missing was the fly rod, however i did clock where at least 2-3 good sized trout have taken up residence :wink so hopefully the flies will continue for a couple more weeks yet :z7

That's an impressive hatch.
Very interesting.......... Rubs chin while looking up and to the left.
