Flyfishing in Jutland(near Alborg)
« on: 20/08/2010 at 14:27 »
Hi,

Am off on Tuesday until Saturday for a business trip to Alborg. Have looked on the map and there appears to be quite a few rivers...does anyone have any contacts/info etc on the fishing for Trout /Grayling?

Would be much appreciated.

Fishing down here is dire-high winds most days, evening fishing pretty poor. Did a lot up to end of World Cup but weather since then has been bad for fishing

Never fished there Richard , but I'm pretty sure there would be coastal Sea Trout. This web link on fishing in the Aalbiorg area is not that useful.

Fished over there several times a few years ago. The Limfjord on which Alborg lies is prime sea trout water. Rivers too. There are also plenty of stocked fisheries. If my memory is correct you require a state fishing licence readily obtainable . Tourist Ino Office will keep you right. There is a link to the Alborg office in the link Jim supplied.

Enjoy - the Danes are great people.
