Just to let you know that the grayling days are highly recomended, great stretch of water and most had some great sport.
I tried bugging in the morning with the 5wt to no success but in the afternoon trotting maggots gave great sport on the spinning rod.
Managed grayling, sea trout and brownies and will be back in january for the next day out. In the meantime my new winter hobby is grayling fishing and i am going up the isla next weekend  :z18
No photos unfortanetly but will post a link to some of the others photos later  :z18

Jim

Best you make the next one then jim  :wink
Its worth going for the hot rolls in the morning , warm lunch and a wee dram after the fishing  :z18
All for £6  :shock
Everyone took a little something along to contribute to the food so a cheap and fun day all in all  :z15

I fished the Earn in June 2002 on Crieff Angling Clubs water http://www.crieffanglingclub.org.uk/ Went down to the Kinkell Bridge one day but couldnt find anywhere to buy the permit.  :z8
It looked like a lovely fly water. Thanks for the photos.  :z16
