I had an 11 and a 14 pound brownie on the same day

..from a water that no one would have thought would have produced trout, let alone wild brownies..and it was right in the middle of a public park

Also had a 9 pound brownie again from a public park not too far away, which took a bait meant for Pike.

My biggest brownie has been in and around the 2lb range. It was a long time ago and was released back to the hill loch I managed to tempt it from

Unfortunately, not managed a lot of brown trout fishing over the last few years if any

Must get back out to a hill loch or two!
