Anyone remember Jack Hargreaves and his "Old Country" programme in the early 80's.
This episode was one of my favourites and was the one that got me into fly fishing. Fishing the Mayfly.

Guys, outstanding I used to watch out of town every week when I was a loon. The one that I remember most was when he was with Barr Welham who became the MD of Leeda. Barry was fishing a small Stillwater with buzzers and nymphs and this had a huge impact on me when I subsequently went to the limestone lochs of Durness that became an obsession that I still have.
I felt sorry for the chap who did not make it up there recently due to the dodgy car battery. I will try and do the lochs justice on my next trip next month.
Many thanks for the schoolboy memories of programmes that I watched on my grannies black and white telly.
Eddie.
