Well..we got out downpour...the rivers barely rose a few centimetres and now appear to be dropping again...arrgh!!!

drove past at lunchtime; lower beat; looked very murky & brown. I'll have a look again at tea time on way home

Hmmmm, Don seems to be rising a little at Parkhill, maybe run off finally reaching the river. Looks like it has gone up around 10 cm, which in old money is 14 ferrets and a flump.
The Dee at Garthdee seems to still be dropping from a 10 cm rise.
The river I really want to rise has a little, and seems to still be going up slightly..so hope yet ;)

Don't know bout levels as I haven't seen the river in weeks but the don at Kintore is very coloured. Looks like the rivers in Central Europe a milky green colour.

lower don running a bit murky still, some - but not much - weed/debris coming down. Probably (hopefully) just fining down now, might be worth a cast. who knows!

Just wondering how the rivers looking today, just back from 2 weeks offshore and might head out tonight if its looking ok.

Make sure you're well earthed, going fishing could be a hair raising experience right now :shock
