Nice looking flea that.

How do your get the legs to come away from the body  so much most of mine seem to lie flat along the body even if they go over the dubbing?

To be honest the only thing I can think of is that I selected the stems I want and pull them off the feather so they are still connected at the base then tie them down hard? I thought it might be dubbing but when I tied this then there is no dubbing ball so im a bit lost...
This I have called the 'wee devil'
