Kintore! It comes and goes have seen lots of green and some really vivid red. Went out twice for half hour or so. I can see it from the back garden which is overlooked by a street light! but a mile up the road where it's pretty dark is much better. Tried taking pics but couldn't pick it up plus it was ruining my night vision. Go for a drive mike!

Looking in any particular direction Noel? I can't see anything from my place, too much Inverurie light.

Yes mike look up :z4 sorry.. North! Was covering 1/3 of the sky sometimes.

Went for a run in the car and parked up in the dark. Can see a faint glow in the north Noel, but no greens or reds, I guess I missed it. Sky is very clear tonight though :cool:

Dave was saying it was pretty cool in the Methlick area.

View the image full size on Facebook, right click on the image and select "copy image URL". Then paste the image URL on here, highlight the image URL on here and click on the "insert image" icon (below the "I" icon) as per normal.

Just my luck only there last weekend ,and the light show almost reached London ,where with the light pollution we would not have seen it any way /and L blachall and inchmarlow are taking the odd fish this week !
Ah well the ressers are opening up !

Morven was a lovely backdrop for it all. Really rather nice.

There was a stunning photo in the papers taken by NASA showing what looked like an Aurora Crown on top of the earth.
