If you click on the link below :z3

You should get "Original Aberdeen" Radio playing live on your windows player? Simply minimize it and you can have it playing in the background while you are on the PC

Do any of you do this with other stations? ........ Any cool ones?

Cheers

Yeah normally have something on in the background original is quite good mix of music, plus on there website they do a text service were you give them your mobil number and kis school and they text you for free if that school is going to close due to weather, pretty good service saves you listening to the endless list when they read it out,

quite oftern have radio 1 or 2 on aswell or sometimes i will pick a random station from somewere else in the world to see the differances. some of the english speeking stations across spain are quite good picked them up when on hols and listern every now and again and some american stations are just to weird to stay on more than ten mins

I have a great one..well..several thousand :) Its called http://www.live365.com/index.live

You can type in the type of music you like and it finds all the radio stations that play that sort of music. For example, I like a bit of Ska, and there are 327 stations that play Ska and related music..all jolly good stuff :)

Enjoy :)

I used to host a live radio station back in 1999-2002, it was ran through a program Shoutcast! Basically turns your PC into a radio station...what ever you play through Winamp...people heard (Obviosuly they had to be connected). Not big numbers in comparison to real radios but 300-500 listeners a night was great.

Must confess that I thought Radio Caroline disappeared years ago when they "abandoned ship" :cry

So it was great to discover that Caroline is available over the net ........ So good in fact that I have decided to support the station and "Fishing The Fly" is now rocking

I have set up a banner on the home page http://www.fishingthefly.co.uk that opens Radio Caroline Live on Windows Media Player which you can listen to in the background

Hope you like it ........ I do :z12

Best wishes
