Title: This weekend
Post by: Mike Barrio on 06/02/2009 at 20:00
Looks like things are going to be a tad quiet this weekend fishing-wise, I don't know if anywhere is going to be open, or if anybody even fancies going fishing just now :z6

Probably a good weekend to put ones feet up by the fire and perhaps do a bit of fly-tying? I can picture Baz in his living room perhaps, sitting in his newly inflated float tube in front of the telly :z4

Me, I've just been out for a puff  :z3 and have come back in to a hot cup of coffee and a wee glass of Bowmore ...... hmmm, nice :wink

Cheers
Mike

Yeah Mike,
It looks like a fly-tying weekend in store.

I've no doubt Baz will be sitting in his tube right now watching Eastenders (that's what I'm doing), I just hope he isn't wearing his automatic life jacket 'cos I hear that sitting next to an open bottle of beer can set them off!

We were supposed to be down to Ardmurdo/Keithhall beats on Sunday to walk the beats, tidy up any rubbish and see what is required to be done for this season, but with this weather it is looking great.

Have to put this off to another weekend.

Regards,
Bri.

Hi Harri

Thanks for the photos of the very nice flies :z16

Yes, I have problems with my tired eyes nowadays too :wink

I will try to resize the second photo for you, as when our photos are more than 600 or 650 pixels wide they don't work very well on the forum and make it side scroll.

Best wishes
Mike

Sorry folks for the language.  :oops
As we say here, a good laugh -brings a long life. :z4 :z4 :z4
After this I need something that has a smell of sea air, and taste smooth with a clean finish and has a slight sherry note, and comes from Wick. Anyone  :?
