yup, not keen on zoos either. its just something that happens when you're handed a kid and you don't know what else to do with it...  :X2 :X1 :z4
anyhow, the keepers tend to store dropped feathers in the back workspace (or whatever its called) :wink

Autumn in Germany ...... A great photo from master casting instructor Juergen Friesenhahn, based in Hagen.

Juergen has a nice website with an interesting blog in both German and English. http://wurfkurse.de/

nice pic of Juergen. apart from wanting to always relate fly casting to drumming, which of course makes no sense (or rather, can only make sense to a drummer. thank goodness most of us aren't !..   :z4 ) he's a really nice guy, superb caster and instructor  :z16

Thanks Will, I cropped the photo as it's actually quite difficult to see the angler in the full size one

I clearly remember another amazing shower like this coming over Haddo, we were on the edge of the storm and the folk fishing to the left of the hut were in the sun and dry ..... but the folk fishing to the right got absolutely soaked and I could hardly see them :shock

Cheers
Mike
