Hi folks
The anglers at September's float tube gathering asked me to try and find a date for an October gathering :?
I've found a date with no bookings ........ so if you like, we can hold a Haddo Float Tube Gathering on Saturday October the 13th, starting at the usual 9.30 in the morning and fishing through to 6pm ( pricing will be £15 ) ........ and yes, pontoon boats will also be welcome to come along :wink
If you are interested in coming to the gathering? ........ Please let me know by replying here :z16
Best wishes

hi mike
won't make saturday's float tube day after all. picking up a new (old) car.
sorry about that.
changing tack -- we chatted last week about float tubers using canoeing jackets (cags?) and/or life preservers for dryness and safety.
Had a quick look in town over the weekend; only saw life vests with no or few pockets, and they were not all-in-one, jacket with built in life preserver types.
A couple of the cags had built in neoprene type sleeves, *maybe* suitable for keeping water out when dipping a sleeve into the water when releasing a fish from the tube. Other cags had velcro type fastenings, and didn't look too waterproof. They also tend to be bright blue or yellow, hardly discreet camouflage style!
any float tubers out there got a good recommendation for a jacket with sleeves that don't allow water in? I'm scunnered with float tubing with wet wrists
cheers
