Title: Haddo Fishery
Post by: Alex Burnett on 03/06/2012 at 22:11
Hi Mike

Really glad to hear that you have found a solution to the lack of home time
& the need to work on your lines, other than selling to a sindicate  :z16

Fishing in the Northeast would certainly not be the same without Haddo
& you at the helm :z14

Couldn't agree more. It's a magical place.

Hi guys :z16

It is a couple of months now since I put the fishery up for sale and the only serious interest has been from folk wishing to set up syndicates. I would prefer this not to happen if possible, as I know there are many Haddo regulars who would miss being able to fish the loch :z6

So I have had a bit of a rethink ..... and Haddo is now open daily from 9.30 to 5.30 ( by advance booking only ) and with a fishing permit price of £20 per angler.

I have updated the website information, please see: http://fishingthefly.co.uk/haddo-trout-fishery.html (http://fishingthefly.co.uk/haddo-trout-fishery.html)

Best wishes
Mike

:z4Really pleased to read this one, good news indeed! :z4 Selfish I know, but I really enjoy my (far too) infrequent visits to Haddo and it's always a pleasure to drink a coffee and chat with you Mike. And then chase the fish!! :X2

All the best for the future.

 :z18,

Colin.

nice, very nice Mike  :z16

Did you take any on 'burst' mode?  I'm sure that'd throw up some cool shots.

The burst mode on my old camera is a bit slow, the main problem is guessing where they will rise next Iain :z4

Great fun though

Cheers

What size is the front of your lens Mike? I might have a polarizing filter kicking about.

Great picture by the way.  :z16
