Man Flu
« on: 01/11/2010 at 21:46 »
Mrs mdh is a teacher and regularly seems to pick up whatever bugs the kids have.  I seem to have picked up her latest cold.  I'm currently enjoying a hot toddy made from Quarter Cask Laphroig.  In my humble opinion it's the best whisky for making toddy with.

Any other suggestions?

I have found that replacing the sugar in a hot toddy with a Lemsip powder is usually very effective, hasn’t killed me yet.  However would not use a good whisky for this.

Laphroig is the only Scottish Whisky I have tasted that I dont like. I do drink hot toddies if im feeling poorly but I keep a bottle of cheap stuff for them.

There are not many whiskies I don't like Laphroig is one of them though.

Speaking about Man Flu, Paul Arden has recently started a forum section on Sexyloops called "Man Shit", where the topics include stuff like Man Shit Food, Man Shit Log Piles, etc ....... Cool :z4

What sort of stuff do you consider to be good "Man Shit"? Stuff like making coffee over a fire, making your socks last a week etc etc :?

Cheers
